People on Facebook have been deleting more and more "friends" from their friend list. Why? People want quality friends on Facebook. In the early years of Facebook it was more "quantity over quality." People unfriend someone for various reasons such as offensive comments, don't know well, trying to sell something, depressing comments, and lack of interaction. In 2011, 63 percent of adults unfriended people but before, in 2009, adults showed they only unfriended 56 percent of their friends.

I think that people can be very rude of upsetting on Facebook. I unfriend anyone who says something mean of that could offend anyone else. I know I have friends on Facebook that I never talk to but if they don't do stupid things on Facebook then I'm not just going to unfriend them. Talking about selling things, I don't friend any companies. It's not like you will chat with them or anything. Adults are so much more strict on bad things so the percentages are probably a lot smaller for children and teens. It seems that people in my grade want quantity more than quality.

I really liked how you worded your blog post, it was really interesting to read. I agree with you that if someone is being mean or posts a rude comment on facebook you should definitely unfriend them. Also I agree with you that you should't friend any companies, or even people you don't know. I think theese days people still want more followers rather than fewer followers that you actually know.

I agree that people in are grade want quantity over quality. I think that goes for most of the world. I think we look for as many friends as we can find because we feel as if we are judged for who we hang out with so, we want a wide amount of personalities and characteristics. Also, we want to have a large amount because people will think we are not good enough to hang out with them if we don't have a good majority of friends. But, I could see someone unfriending people on Facebook because some people post way too much. Some people post about problems they have or depressing things more than things funny or happy. Overall, I agree people unfriend other people as well as some people care more for quantity.
